Introduction

Trida AI is a Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) firm that embeds senior AI engineers directly inside client organizations to design, build, and operate production AI systems. Our work sits at the intersection of software engineering and data-intensive infrastructure, which means we take privacy and data handling seriously — not as a compliance formality, but as a core operational requirement.

This Privacy Policy describes how Trida AI ("we," "us," or "our") collects and uses information when you visit our website (trida.ai), submit an inquiry through our contact form, or engage us for services. It does not cover client systems or data that Trida AI accesses in the course of a client engagement — those obligations are governed by the relevant Master Services Agreement and Data Processing Addendum executed with each client.

Information We Collect

Contact and inquiry data. When you reach out through our website contact form, we collect the information you submit: your name, work email address, company name, and a description of your project or question. We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry and to scope a potential engagement. We do not add you to marketing lists without your explicit opt-in.

Website analytics. We collect standard server-side analytics to understand how visitors navigate our site — pages visited, referral source, approximate geographic region (country or city level), and session duration. This data is aggregated and not linked to personally identifiable information. We do not use cross-site tracking or build behavioral profiles.

Cookies. Our site uses a minimal set of first-party cookies necessary for site functionality (e.g., remembering your theme preference) and for aggregated analytics. We do not place advertising or retargeting cookies. See the Cookies section below for details.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes: responding to inquiries and scoping project engagements; communicating about proposals, contracts, and ongoing engagements; improving the content and usability of our website; and complying with legal obligations. We rely on legitimate interest and, where required, explicit consent as the legal bases for processing.

We do not use your contact information for cold outreach or newsletter campaigns. If you become a client, communication is governed by your engagement agreement. We will never sell your information to third parties.

Client Engagement Data

During an active engagement, Trida AI engineers may access client codebases, internal databases, API keys, model weights, proprietary datasets, and other sensitive technical assets. This access is granted by the client for the purpose of delivering engineering services and is not considered "data collection" under this policy — it is instead governed by the contractual terms agreed at the start of each engagement.

As a matter of firm policy: we do not use any data accessed during a client engagement to train AI or ML models, whether our own or third-party. Client data stays inside the client's environment or is handled in accordance with written data handling provisions. Every Trida AI engineer signs a confidentiality agreement that extends beyond the conclusion of the engagement. Access is granted on a least-privilege basis and is revoked immediately upon engagement close or upon client request.

If an engagement requires us to process personal data on behalf of a client (for example, working on a product that processes end-user data), we will execute a Data Processing Addendum (DPA) that defines roles, retention limits, and sub-processor obligations in accordance with applicable law, including GDPR where relevant.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or broker your personal information. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

• Sub-processors. We use a small number of third-party services to operate our business (email delivery, website hosting, analytics). These vendors are contractually obligated to process data only on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions.
• Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Trida AI, our clients, or others.
• Business transfers. In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all assets, personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Data Security

We implement technical and organizational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data we handle. These include encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls with multi-factor authentication, and regular review of access privileges. Our internal security practices are aligned with SOC 2 Type II principles, and we are working toward formal certification.

While we take these obligations seriously, no system is completely immune to breach. In the event of an incident that affects your personal data, we will notify affected parties in accordance with applicable law and our contractual commitments.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request corrections to inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, or object to certain processing activities. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@trida.ai. We will respond within 30 days. We do not require you to create an account or pay a fee to exercise these rights.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. We would, however, appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns directly before you escalate.

Cookies

We use only first-party cookies. A session cookie is set to support basic site functionality. If you have enabled a theme preference (light or dark mode), that preference is stored in your browser's local storage rather than a cookie. We use a lightweight analytics tool that sets a first-party cookie to distinguish unique sessions; this cookie does not contain personally identifiable information and is not shared with advertising networks.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Doing so will not meaningfully affect your ability to use this website, as we do not gate content behind cookie consent.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our services evolve or as legal requirements change. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of our website after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
